The Concert Series at Lord of Life Lutheran Church is proud to present an afternoon of great classical music featuring Dr. Mark Laverty, our Music Director.  He will perform the works of Bach, Mozart, Chopin and Rachmaninoff.  Dr. Laverty is a St. Louis native and a longtime resident of Chesterfield.

About the artist:

Dr. Mark Laverty is the Music Director at Lord of Life and a St. Louis native.  He has performed concerts throughout the United States and in Europe and holds the Doctor of Musical Arts Degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. In addition to concertizing, Dr. Laverty maintains a thriving piano studio in Chesterfield where he teaches students ranging in age from 8 to 80.  As Music Director at Lord of Life, he directs the choir, plays the piano and organ, and assists with church service planning.
